On Rua Mouzinho da Silveira, formerly a street for artisans, those men are honoured at Artesão Bistrô. Formerly a workshop, now it is a traditional Portuguese cuisine restaurant, modernised, with its own identity by Chef João Lima, the Food Artisan. On its two floors, where dark oak predominates on the tables and utensils hang on the walls, an archaic but not old-fashioned environment welcomes customers.
From an artisanal kitchen, as in our grandparents' house, food is prepared with patience and for as long as necessary, although using current techniques, improving flavours, and promoting sharing. Dishes are served with few elements so as not to confuse flavours and in small portions so that you can taste several dishes. From meat, fish, seafood, and vegetarian options, you will find elements on your plate that excel in slow cooking. The average price is €50/ 2pax.
Open from Monday to Friday. Reservations accepted.
