The mouth of the Douro River is home to the Reitoria group's most recent project. In “Habitat – Terra e Fogo”, industrial architecture merges with the natural elements that are the centrepieces of this concept.
On the entrance floor, the relaxed atmosphere is dedicated to petiscos (Portuguese version of tapas) and tapas, such as frittata, black pork kebab or cauliflower in a wood oven. Upstairs, there is a menu designed with long meals in mind. Here, grilled fish and meat are made with three different types of wood. Among the most popular dishes are chuletón and grilled loin.
The “Habitat - Terra e Fogo” is closed on Sundays and Mondays, and is open the other days of the week from 12.30 pm to 3 pm, and from 7.30 pm to 10.30 pm. On Saturdays, only lunches are served. The average price per person is 20€.
